MBA Jobs

The number of jobs available only to MBA graduates is rising. Employers appreciate the evidence that an MBA holder has the knowledge and skills necessary for a senior management position.

The most common areas for MBA graduates to work in are:

· Accounting & Finance

Most of us only consider accounting and accounts in the run up to “tax day”, but in a corporate environment the accounting world is becoming increasingly complex with many companies having to think about not only domestic laws and policies but also international laws and policies. An MBA is excellent evidence that you are capable of considering these complex matters.

· Consulting

It is almost impossible to get a consulting job without an MBA. You need to demonstrate an above average level of knowledge and skill in business matters.

· General Management

The further up the management organisational chart you travel the more general and strategic view you will need, an MBA demonstrates that you have that background.

· Human Resources

This is another area with increasing and fast moving legislation and policies. With an increasingly global economy and workforce, international considerations and complications are on the rise as well. Senior human resource professionals need to show a high degree of knowledge, skill and versatility.
